On October 13, 2026, Google expanded Gemini 4 Argon to the paid API, Pro/Ultra accounts in Gemini and AI Mode, and Ultra accounts in Antigravity. September 30 remains the first restricted-release date. Availability depends on account eligibility, region and rollout. Personal plans and access US monthly list prices are Free $0, Plus $4.99, Pro $19.99, Ultra 5x $99.99 and Ultra 20x $199.99; local taxes and promotions vary. Free and Plus do not include Argon. Pro includes Argon in Gemini chat but not Antigravity. Ultra includes both eligible product surfaces. Gemini usage multipliers compare Plus (2x) and Pro (4x) with Free, but Ultra (5x or 20x) with Pro. Personal chat quotas refresh every five hours and also have a weekly ceiling. Workload, context and reasoning affect consumption; these are not guaranteed prompt counts. Free/Plus/Pro/Ultra context limits are 32K/128K/1M/1M. Check Settings > Usage Limits. Argon defaults to Low reasoning; Medium and High consume more. Different credit pools Monthly Flow credits for Plus/Pro/Ultra 5x/Ultra 20x are 200/1,000/10,000/25,000. Flow Music credits are 3,000/10,000/30,000/30,000. Developer Program Cloud credits for Pro/Ultra 5x/Ultra 20x are $10/$40/$100, subject to activation and eligible use. None of these figures is an Argon prompt allowance. Family sharing does not multiply a shared credit pool. Antigravity Argon requires Ultra or enterprise eligibility and runs in the Antigravity app, CLI and IDE extensions, not the legacy IDE. Eligible Pro/Ultra baseline quotas have five-hour refreshes and weekly limits. Purchased or one-time promotional credits can pay overages; Always enables automatic credit spending after baseline exhaustion, while Never waits for recovery. Top-ups do not upgrade model eligibility. Unlimited Tab completion does not mean unlimited agent work, and BYOK does not raise these limits. Google One allows eligible Pro/Ultra accounts to buy credits, with regional and billing restrictions. Auto-reload can trigger at most five times daily. Check AI Studio for actual RPM/TPM; daily request limits reset at Pacific midnight. Batch queue token ceilings for Argon tiers 1/2/3 are 5 million/500 million/1 billion, not free credits. The unified 1,048,576-token window includes input, thinking and output; synchronous output is capped at 65,536, with background long decode using the unified window. This capacity is distinct from usage quota. Argon accepts multimodal input and produces text. Independent results and early reactions As checked October 13, Vals reports a leading 68.90% Vals Index result, strong finance/coding results, and a weaker 4.83% CUA result. Artificial Analysis reports Intelligence Index 53 at High reasoning. Different benchmarks and configurations do not establish universal superiority. First-day Reddit comments praise instruction following and coding but also report inconsistent document handling and rapid quota use.
