Live Avatar extends Gemini 3.8 Live with expressive audio and video, lip synchronization, visual and audio understanding, and asynchronous tool use. It is available in Gemini Enterprise from September 24. Google reports synchronization across 97 languages. Preset avatars are supported; reference-image custom avatar creation requires enterprise allowlisting. Outputs carry SynthID watermarks.
